Buffalo Bills at the Kansas City Chiefs

• Buffalo is 0-6 and the Chiefs got back on track last week.  They are leading their division and i think they'll go to the playoffs by winning that division which is weak by the way, but the Bills are very weak.  I'm picking the Chiefs despite the life shown by the Bills last week against Baltimore.

Carolina Panthers at the St. Louis Rams

• The Rams should've won last week against the Bucs, and I think they'll get it done against their second consecutive NFC South opponent this week.

Jacksonville Jaguars at the Dallas Cowboys

• The Cowboys looked to have some offense last week despite their loss to the red hot New York Football Giants.  The Jags have lost 2 straight and i think the Cowboys will finally get a win and extend Jacksonville's losing streak.

Washington Redskins at the Detroit Lions

• I want the Lions to do well but they've only won one game this year and that was a blowout against the Rams.  I'm finally going to pick the Redskins who won last week and are 4-1 in the NFC thus far.

Miami Dolphins at the Cincinnati Bengals

• Cincinnati has lost 3 straight but they almost came back against the NFC South leading Falcons last week.  I think they will get a win this week and Carson Palmer seems to have two good rookie recieving threats in Jermaine Gresham and Jordan Shipley who had a break out game last week.

Denver Broncos at the San Francisco 49ers

• The Broncos have lost 3 in a row, but the 49ers aren't exactly very good this year, however, i think they will get the win in a game between two teams that won't make the playoffs.

Green Bay Packers at the New York Jets

• I would like to pick the Packers but the Jets are too strong.  The Packers' offense hasn't been clicking so far this season, and that will be a problem against the Jets defense.

Tennessee Titans at the San Diego Chargers

• The Titans have won three straight, the Chargers have lost 3 in a row, i think both will extend their respective streaks.

Seattle Seahawks at the Oakland Raiders

• The Seahawks are 1-2 on the road, but Oakland is 1-2 against the NFC.  The Seahawks are the better team in this game and they'll get the W.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers at the Arizona Cardinals

• The Bucs are 4-2 with wins only against fairly weak opponents, but I think Arizona is weak and the Bucs will get their 2nd straight week.

Minnesota Vikings at the New England Patriots

• The Pats are looking very good right now and the same cannot be said about the Vikings who are distracted on and off the field with Brett Favre and Brad Childress.  The Pats will win easily at home.

Pittsburgh Steelers at the New Orleans Saints

• Everyone is picking the Steelers.  Many have said that they are now the best team in the NFL with Rothlisberger being back.  That could be motivation for the Saints to get a win.  They've lost game they shouldn't have, let's see if they can win one where they are the underdogs.

Houston Texans at the Indianapolis Colts

• Indianapolis wants revenge against the Texans.  They lost early in the season to two division opponents, one being the Texans, and they haven't lost since.  The AFC South is a strong division and the winner here i think takes a good hold of the Division despite what the Titans do this week.

Philadelphia Eagles at the Tennessee Titans

• The Eagles, as many have pointed out, have a good quarterback problem.  Kolb showed he can step in for Vick, and Vick showed the same earlier in the season.  I like their chances with either or on the field.

Buffalo Bills at the Baltimore Ravens

• Tough game for the Ravens against the Patriots last week.  The Bills are a team, sadly, that the Ravens will be able to take a little anger out on.

Cleveland Browns at the New Orleans Saints

• The Saints finally got a little offense rolling last week with their most convincing win of the season, and it's about time, because contrary to popular belief, the browns are no longer a push over.  However, they have large QB woes.

Pittsburgh Steelers at the Miami Dolphins

• Big Ben has a game under his belt, and James Harrison is apparently not retiring.  Both good things for the Steelers.  This could be a good game though.  The Dolphins are not as explosive, it seems, as last season but they still bring a dynamic element to the game.

Cincinnati Bengals at the Atlanta Falcons

• Cincinnati is not as good as everyone had hoped, but they are coming off a by week, and i think they can get it done in Atlanta.

Washington Redskins at the Chicago Bears

• The Bears need to get it together and i think they will get back on track here.  However, if their offensive line doesnt step it up about 5 notches, they will lose.

St. Louis Rams at the Tampa Bay Buccaneers

• The Bucs looked weak last week against the Saints, although they are defending Superbowl Champs, but the Rams beat the Chargers who haven't been good, but it was a good win for Bradford and the Rams.

San Francisco 49ers at the Carolina Panthers

• 49ers on a comeback trail?  I don't know about that, but i say they get a win against this young Panthers team.

Jacksonville Jaguars at the Kansas City Chiefs

• After starting 3-0 the Chiefs have lost 2 straight, but you have to take in mind their opponents.  Losses to the Texans and Colts are not bad losses.  I think they'll get back on track here and get a win in a game in which they should do so.

Arizona Cardinals at the Seattle Seahawks

• Seahawks aren't looking that bad, and the Cardinals are looking better.  The winner here will move to the top spot in that supposedly weak but improving NFC West.

Oakland Raiders at the Denver Broncos

• The Broncos have lost two straight, but to the Jets and Colts.  No one is exactly tearing up that division with no wins last week and only won the week before.  The Broncos and Chiefs i think will be the top to teams in that division in the end.

New England Patriots at the San Diego Chargers

• The Pats got a HUGE win last week over the Ravens.  The Chargers are not looking too hot to say the least.  I think the Patriots addition of Deion Branch seemed to work out last week pretty well.

Minnesota Vikings at the Green Bay Packers

• Neither team looks very good, but I think the Packers are a better team despite their injuries which i think they'd be a great team without.  Too much distraction for Brett Favre, and he's got to remember to keep Moss in the picture without leaving Adrian Peterson out of the game.

New York Giants at the Dallas Cowboys

• I guess ill pick the Cowboys.  You never know which team is going to show up.  The better has only showed up for 1 out of 5 games this year, but i think the 'Boys have heard enough smack on them about their lack of discipline that they'll get a win this week on monday night.

San Diego Chargers at the St. Louis Rams

• The Chargers finally seem to have found some life.  There Defense is playing pretty decent, and Malcom Floyd is emerging as a legitimate reciever to try to replace Vincent Jackson.  The Rams are better, but have a ways to go.  Sam Bradford had a rough game last week and i'm looking for him to bounce back.

Baltimore Ravens at the New England Patriots

• Baltimore has found ways to win big games.  They beat the Jets, and Steelers in close, hard-fought battles.  I expect them to do the same this week.  Tom Brady is now without his big play reciever in Randy Moss, which still baffles me, and I think they'll have some struggles against this tough Ravens Defense.

Atlanta Falcons at the Philadelphia Eagles

• The Falcons are pretty strong this year.  I'd have picked the Eagles if I knew they would have a healthy Michael Vick, but they most likely won't have him at all.  With a win here the Falcons will be sitting at a very impressive 5-1, with only a loss to the Steelers.  As of now they could be the team to beat in the NFC.

Cleveland Browns at the Pittsburgh Steelers

• The Steelers at home with Big Ben, going against an improving Cleveland Browns team.  However, the Browns will be starting  rookie QB Colt McCoy.  A tough first start for the former Texas star.

New Orleans Saints at the Tampa Bay Buccaneers

• The Saints need a win this week, BADLY.  If the Saints lose they will fall to 3-3 and have a 4-1, and 5-1 team ahead of them in their division (if Atlanta finds a W).  It won't be easy for the defending Superbowl Champs.  Brees really needs to bounce back and i think he will.

Seattle Seahawks at the Chicago Bears

• This one is tough, but if the Bears keep their running game going, then their Defense will do the rest.

Detroit Lions at the New York Giants

• The Lions looked strong last week, but the Giants have looked very good the last two weeks.  I think the Giants are a better football team.  The Lions aren't bad and i wouldn't be suprised if they squeeze one out.  But, i'm taking the Giants at home in the new Meadowlands.

Miami Dolphins at the Green Bay Packers

• I picked the Packers assuming that Aaron Rodgers will be healthy.  They haven't been clicking very well on offense thus far and the loss of two crucial tight ends for the Packers will make that even more difficult.  If they don't get the Offense clicking, then the Dolphins will win despite the recent struggle of Chad Henne against the Patriots in week 4. 

Kansas City Chiefs at the Houston Texans

• This game is very important to whoever wins it.  A W for the Chiefs means they are still very much alive.  If the Texans pull out a win then they will get a big win moving them to 3-0 in the AFC.  The Texans bring a better rushing attack to this game than did the Colts.  This could be a close one and one i'd like to see.

Oakland Raiders at the San Francisco 49ers

• The Raiders got a huge division win against the Chargers last week, and the 49ers are reeling to say the least.  I think the 49ers all need to get their heads right, and the Raiders aren't looking too shabby under Bruce Gradkowski.

New York Jets at the Denver Broncos

• The Jets are looking good, with only a loss to the Ravens.  And as emerging star quarterback Mark Sanchez said after week one.  "We can still go 15-1".  I'm not saying that will happen, but i do think they will improve to 5-1 this week.

Dallas Cowboys at the Minnesota Vikings

• The Cowboys looked OK last week and the Vikings looked dismal, or at least Brett Favre did with 3 turnovers to counter his three TDS.  Although the Vikes will be at home, i'm taking the Cowboys but they can't have a 70-30 Pass-run ratio this game.  Felix Jones is emerging as a star and 15 touches with 109 yds is very good.  They had like 23 rushes as a team last week.  I think Jones needs about that much.  Last week the Cowboys threw the ball twice as many times as they ran it.  In their lone win this season. The Cowboys were close to 50-50.

Indianapolis Colts at the Washington Redskins

• The Colts got a good win last week against a tough Chiefs squad.  And to my suprise the Redskins have won 2 straight.  This may be a good game, but McNabb has been far too inaccurate for them to pull out a win against this Colts team.  If the Skins want a chance then Donovan McNabb is going to have to do better than his 56.5% Year-to-date average in this game.

Tennessee Titans at the Jacksonville Jaguars

• Tennesee and Jacksonville is a great MNF matchup.  Division game, both sitting at 3-2, the Jags with a Division win, and the Titans yet to have played an AFC South Opponent.  I think this game could go either way, both teams scoring in the 20s or 30s, but i had to pick one and I picked the Titans.

• Bucs are 2-1 with only a loss to the Steelers, and Cincy is 2-2 with a loss to Cleveland.....Who'd a thunk. I say the Bengals get back on track this week with a W.

Atlanta Falcons at the Cleveland Browns

• The Browns have established a running threat in Peyton Hillis, but they have QB troubles.  Atlanta doesn't, and they have a great running game.  The falcons will be 4-1 and looking good.

Jacksonville Jaguars at the Buffalo Bills

• The Bills are bad, or at least haven't shown anything otherwise.  Until they do, sorry i'm not picking them. Mau-Jo will run all over this D.

New York Giants at the Houston Texans

• Although the Giants got back on track with a commanding win against the Bears last week, they will have to worry about more than just a passing game against the Texans.  Arian Foster and the running game will prove the difference in this one.  Last week all the Giants had to really worry about was  the pass, this will be a different story.

Denver Broncos at the Baltimore Ravens

• I think the Ravens are one of the best football teams in the NFL.  They have balance, and they showed they can win big games. Denver will fall back in what i think is the worst division in football and the Ravens will get a huge win in what i think is the toughest division in football, especially now that the Browns show some promise.

Kansas City Chiefs at the Indianapolis Colts

• There will be no undefeated season this year...But no one loss-less in week 6?  Its gotta happen because after I saw Peyton Manning after the Jacksonville game, he will not let his team lose if you let him say anything about it. The Colts will be the Chiefs best test thus far, however, I don't think the Chiefs are a fluke.  I say they go on to win that division, but not this game.

St. Louis Rams at the Detroit Lions

• This is a tough one.  So tough, my pick here is different than my CBS Pick 'em pick.  The Lions have had chances to win and they are not a 0-4 football team in my mind.  They'll finally get a W this week.  Although its because they are at home.  And i hope Bradford excells even further.  I'm a Bradford fan and he may just get his team a win this week.....its too close to call.

Chicago Bears at the Carolina Panthers

• Carolina has upside, but the Bears will be able to not run and win this game.  Don't expect the Bears to get much further though, unless they can start some kind of running game.

Green Bay Packers at the Washington Redskins

• The Redskins got a good win last week although it may have been different had Michael Vick not been injured.  I think the Packers will continue to seek vengeance to their loss to chicago 2 weeks ago and will get the win despite Washington's home field advantage.  They have a solid Defense and a potent offense which the Redskins showed they have trouble stopping a few weeks ago against Houston.

New Orleans Saints at the Arizona Cardinals

• No 13-0 Start for NO, and Drew Brees/Sean Payton= not happy about it.  They will silence the critics this week and win this road game despite their injury-based woes of the running game.

San Diego Chargers at the Oakland Raiders

• Raiders show promise, and although the Charger get back RB Ryan Matthews, the Raiders will get a win this week.

Tennessee Titans at the Dallas Cowboys

• Dallas's win against Houston going into the Bye week was huge. They gotta have this win, and i think they can do it at home in JerryWorld as many call it.

Philadelphia Eagles at the San Francisco 49ers

• Without Vick, and with a banged up McCoy, the eagles offense is less than explosive.  I think the 49ers will finally get a win, they're at home and there is no better time than now for a win.

Minnesota Vikings at the New York Jets

• The Jets are tough, and Minnesota has been rough...thus far.  Will the new addition of future hall-of-famer Randy Moss spark Brett into some better quarterbacking? lets hope so, but i don't think they'll get it done this week.  Only one team has been able to win a game this year against the Jets and thats the Ravens who i've already shown what i think of.  The vikings will be better, but not yet good enough. Maybe next week Brett and Randy.  You guys can't forget about Adrian Peterson because of the excitement, and they just may do that this week.

Denver Broncos at the Tennessee Titans

• The Titans are back on track with their running game and Chris Johnson.  The AFC south looks like a very strong division, and the Broncos haven't impressed me thus far this year in a AFC West division that seems pretty weak to me.

Cincinnati Bengals at the Cleveland Browns

• Other than the Browns the AFC North looks very good, and the Bengals will roll over the Browns no problem.  The Bengals however, 2-1 cannot afford to lose a game in their division.

San Francisco 49ers at the Atlanta Falcons

• The Falcons and 49ers both played well against the Saints which i think just shows that everyone plays their best against the Champs.  The Falcons won even though they probably should have lost.  They look good this year and they will try to prove they are better than the Saints and didn't just win on a fluke.

Baltimore Ravens at the Pittsburgh Steelers

• Matchup of the week......Defensive and rushing battle, however, i believe the Ravens advantage in the passing game will prove the x factor in this game.

New York Jets at the Buffalo Bills

• The Jets are pulling out wins against quality teams and their only loss was to a good team in the Ravens.  They will play well against this weak division opponent.

Detroit Lions at the Green Bay Packers

• The Packers lost a close division matchup last week on MNF against the Bears.  The Packers are a quality football team and they will get it done.  Sorry Lions, i believe in you, but you have to wait at least one more week.

Carolina Panthers at the New Orleans Saints

• The Saints are seeking revenge.  I think Drew Brees will play like a man on a mission this week.  He made crucial mistakes that indirectly cost the Saints the ball game and he knows that. I'll put it this way, i don't believe he's blaming Garrett Hartley for this loss, he may be thinking about that little shovel pass interception he made.  Drew Brees has strong character and the will to win.  Expect big stats and a blowout in the DOME!!!

Seattle Seahawks at the St. Louis Rams

• The Rams are 1-2 in a weak divison, and this win would be good for both Bradford and the Rams.  I think they will get it done.  The fact that they didn't get away from the run game last week after they lost Stephen Jackson shows a lot of confidence in the coaching staff.

Indianapolis Colts at the Jacksonville Jaguars

• Peyton Manning is a Machine and he will not let HIS colts lose another division game.

Houston Texans at the Oakland Raiders

• The Raiders deserved to win last week, and i feel bad that they lost like they did.  However the Texans are looking to rebound after their loss to the Cowboys last week.

Washington Redskins at the Philadelphia Eagles

• The Redskins lost to the Rams last week and the Eagles have won 2 straight contests.   I think this will be a somewhat close game maybe, but frankly, I just think their is too much hype surrounding this game.

Arizona Cardinals at the San Diego Chargers

• A matchup between the fallen champs of, what i think, are the two worst divisions in the league.  The AFC West, and the NFC West.

Chicago Bears at the New York Giants

• This could be one of the best games of the week.  Yes the Bears are 3-0 and the Giants seem to be reeling.  This game in the New Meadowlands could be better than people think.  But Mike Martz offense will eventually get it done.

New England Patriots at the Miami Dolphins

• I think the AFC East is won of the better divisions in the League,(other than buffalo) along with the AFC North(cleveland ), AFC South, and the NFC South(carolina ).  The Pats are looking strong and Brady/Moss are clicking.  Look for a high scoring shootout.

I am sorry i have been sluggish and haven't made predictions for the first two weeks in the NFL.  However, i did, last week, make the picks on the CBS game pick 'em and the record was 9-7, so i guess we will start from there.

New England Patriots over the Buffalo Bills

• The Pats have solid this year despite their loss last week to the Jets, and besides the Buffalo Bills have quarterback troubles and are struggling anyway.  The Patriots will roll easily.

Minnesota Vikings over the Detroit Lions

• NFC north matchup, and the Vikings are looking week thus far, but due to their 0-2 start i think Adrian Peterson is going to will a win this week as long as they give him adequate touches.  He is averaging 4.9 yards a carry and doesn't have a lost fumble this year so look for him to control this ball game.

Kansas City Chiefs over the San Francisco 49ers

• The Chiefs suprised everyone with their week 1 victory over the Chargers and now sit at 2-0, i'm pickin the Chiefs but i wouldn't doubt a San Francisco win here.

Cincinnati Bengals over the Carolina Panthers

• The Bengals sheer offensive firepower will overwhelm the Panthers this week and will bounce back after a solid win but defensive struggle last week against the Ravens.

New Orleans Saints over the Atlanta Falcons

• Saints at home......SAINTS

Pittsburgh Steelers over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers
I would love to pick this up and coming Buc team, but the Steelers defensive relentlessness and experience will smother the Bucs.Tennessee Titans over the New York Giants

• Giants looked weak against the inspired Colts last week and the titans didn't look much better, but CJ2K will get his named called enough to win this one.

Baltimore Ravens over the Cleveland Browns

• The Ravens are a solid football team, their offense needs confidence and they will get that this week.

Houston Texans over the Dallas Cowboys

• Possibly the best game of the week.  Last week the Texans won a thriller in D.C., and "America's team" lost...again.  I think they need to establish a balance in the running and passing game.  This week they will again become 1 dimensional and this could be a shootout.

Philadelphia Eagles over the Jacksonville Jaguars

• Michael Vick is going to put on a show against a quiet Jaguars team.

St. Louis Rams over the Washington Redskins

• Matt Schaub was able to pass all over the Redskins last week.  I think Sam Bradford will settle down and finally get a win for this franchise and show them they guaranteed 50 mill to the right guy.

Indianapolis Colts over the Denver Broncos

• Colts looked strong last week and they will continue to prove their dominance.

San Diego Chargers over the Seattle Seahawks

• The chargers need to get it together and if they can't do it against the Seahawks then expect some issues.

Oakland Raiders over the Arizona Cardinals

• Raiders' runningback Darren McFadden looked great last week and i think he'll continue to improve against a Cardinal team that, in my mind, is pretty weak.

New York Jets over the Miami Dolphins

• The Jets got a huge win last week against the Pats and Ladanian Tomlinson is running like a man on a mission and i think he will help Mark Sanchez lead this team to a win.

Green Bay Packers over the Chicago Bears

• I am really looking forward to this football game.  These two teams I believe are the best in their division and the Bears' new found offensive identity will help them this year but i think the Packers are just too strong, however this could be a close one.

The Ravens are struggling, but they will be playing at home against a weak lions team and they'll get it done.

This is a tricky matchup because you don't know which Broncos team will show up.  If the 6-0 Broncos show up they'll be ok and they may win but if the other shows, up Peyton Manning will pick them apart.

• Houston Texans over the Seattle Seahawks

The Texans need this win badly.  They will be at home and they will get it done with a banged up quarterback.

• Tampa Bay Buccaneers over the New York Jets

The Bucs at home will play defense and their young quarterback will do alright and lead them to a win.

• New England Patriots over the Carolina Panthers

The Pats are reeling, but the Panthers are bad.  The Pats need this bounce back game if they want to have a chance.

• Jacksonville Jaguars over the Miami Dolphins

The Jags have a suprising record of 7-5.  Garrard and Maurice Jones-Drew will lead them a win in this one.

• Kansas City Chiefs over the Buffalo Bills

The Chiefs are playing better than the beginning of the season.  They beat the Steelers and now I think they are going to get a win they should get if they want to start getting better.

• Minnesota Vikings over the Cincinnati Bengals

The Vikings lost a heartbreaker to the Cardinals and really got out played.  They will bounce back with the running game, i was afraid of Favre changing the offensive philosophy to a passing team.

• Tennessee Titans over the St. Louis Rams

The Titans had a tough loss to the Colts but i think they will keep the momentum of their previous win streak in this game.

• Oakland Raiders over the Washington Redskins

This may be the first time all season i've picked the Raiders and it is because of the opponent.

• Dallas Cowboys over the San Diego Chargers

The Chargers are playing great football, but they Cowboys really need this win because the Giants and Eagles are right behind them and one will win this week.

• Philadelphia Eagles over the New York Giants

The Eagles are young and they will play inspired even though they are a bit banged up.  They have to assume that the Cowboys will win and they will need this win.

• Arizona Cardinals over the San Francisco 49ers

The Cards picked up a huge win last week over the then 10-1 Vikings.  If they want to begin to hush the talks of inconsistency they must win this game.

• New York Jets over the Buffalo Bills

The Jets are doing better as of late and they will win this division game.

• Atlanta Falcons over the Philadelphia Eagles

The Falcons and Eagles are both decent to good teams and I think the Eagles with concussion ridden Brian Westbrook and DeSean Jackson will prove crucial in this game.

• Pittsburgh Steelers over the Oakland Raiders

The Steelers are struggling considering they are coming off a Superbowl win, but they are still a good football team without Big Ben and they will be focused and win this game.

• Carolina Panthers over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers

The Panthers are better than the Bucs because they have more of a running game.  I think DeAngelo Williams will lead this team to a win.

• New Orleans Saints over the Washington Redskins

The Saints are a great football team, and even with the Redskins having the number one pass defense, they haven't gone up against a team of this caliber.  The Saints will roll because of their running game with Pierre Thomas and Mike Bell.

• Denver Broncos over the Kansas City Chiefs

The Broncs fell quite a bit since their 6-0 start but they came back with a good win over the Giants and they will win this division game.  They need it if they want the playoffs.

• Cincinnati Bengals over the Detroit Lions

The Bengals will not lose another game to a bad team like they did against the Raiders.

• Chicago Bears over the St. Louis Rams

The Bears and Rams are both not having the greatest seasons, but if they Bears wan't to be considered  a decent football team, then Jay Cutler needs to get a grip and suck it up to win some games.

• Indianapolis Colts over the Tennessee Titans

The Colts are a focused football team and we saw that against the Texans last week.  They will stop the streak of the Titans under Vince Young.

• Houston Texans over the Jacksonville Jaguars

The Texans are a good football team even though their record isn't great.  After their loss to the Colts they will comeback and win this football game.

• New England Patriots over the Miami Dolphins

The Dolphins have seemed to spoil the end of the season of the Pats in recent years.  The Pats coming off a loss to the Saints and they will roll in this one.

• San Diego Chargers over the Cleveland Browns

The Chargers are doing well under the radar and they can't let this game slip by.

• Dallas Cowboys over the New York Giants

The Giants have really fell since their 5-0 start, and they Cowboys must win this division game.

• San Francisco 49ers over the Seattle Seahawks

The 49ers are playing pretty well and they need this division win.

• Minnesota Vikings over the Arizona Cardinals

The Vikings are 10-1 and they really need to keep winning for a 2nd seed in the NFC. Under the leadership of Brett Favre and Adrian Peterson they will win handily.
