CINCINNATI -- Well, the game wasn't entirely meaningless.

The Ravens won 24-16, and they needed to win given the Steelers victory at Cleveland. Because the Ravens won, they won the division, the first-round bye and the right to host their playoff opener in two weeks.

The Bengals lost, but still they're going to the playoffs because the Jets and Broncos lost. So Cincinnati will play next week at Houston in the first round.

What happened Sunday in this game? Like it matters. But I'll write about it in a few minutes.

Ravens get bye, Bengals get wild card

Wow!  It all comes down to a non-call for pass interference in the end zone on a hail mary.
Yeah, that gets called all the time.
Maybe the Bungles should focus on their run defense this week...I've heard Arian Foster is pretty good.
Ray Rice and Marshall Yanda ate you guys up and crap you out like pork and sauerkraut today.
I see no AFC championship in your future.

Take some accountablility for your team's inability to get a big win and not blame the officials just once.  Cincy fans are starting to sound an awful lot like Squealers fans lately.

Ravens rule!  S*&k it byatches!

Ravens get bye, Bengals get wild card

with ravensgettingthe bye. they are like that big monster, waiting for someone to pounce on. it appears they have the steelers number. it always seems so easy. beating a team twice, maybe they relax. cause ofter that third time is the one that gets them. anyway if they can get past the steelers, is new england tougher than the last several years, and going to be able to stay with the first part of the game. that will be interesting to find out. another story is, can tebow get any yards against pittsburg?

Lots of handchecking on that play. Green had his hand in Webb's face. Good no call.

Ravens get bye, Bengals get wild card

I've never seen a NFL game with so blatantly bad officiating that favored the Ravens..... pass interference in the end zone on the last Cincy drive, plus many other Ravens penalties....... It's not the ravens fault, but the officials..... I'd love to see them faceoff again for the AFC championship
Yeah the officiating was horrendous especially the pass interference call in the end zone, but really both teams had bad calls on them in the beginning.  I'm just glad my Bengals got in the playoffs as a six seed, special thanks to Carson for choking away another chance at the playoffs.  This time it was for a different team.

I'll bet none of the Bengals have any "rice" with their post game meal.
